More Than Just Code.
Architecting Digital Experiences & Leading High-Performance Teams.
From writing my first lines of PHP to co-founding a tech venture, my 12+ year journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of digital excellence.
I started my career as a hands-on developer, fascinated by the logic of code. But as I grew, I realized that true impact comes not just from how well you build, but what you build and why. This realization transitioned me from Senior Developer to Technical Project Manager, and eventually to Program Manager at Acodez, where I’ve spent over a decade shaping products and teams.
Today, I wear multiple hats: leading enterprise initiatives at Acodez, managing operations at Acowebs, and building the future of digital ranking at visibility.so. My work sits at the intersection of Technology, Strategy, and User Experience.

Any Questions?
Quick answers to the questions people ask me most, from my background to how to get in touch.
Who is Sanjay Shankar?
anjay Shankar M is a program manager and engineering leader based in India, and a co-founder of visibility.so, a platform for running teams with AI agents. He spent 14 years building WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify products at Acodez and Acowebs, serving tens of thousands of customers.
What do you actually do day to day?
I run visibility.so with my co-founders. Most days that means reviewing what our AI agents produced, deciding what gets shipped, planning the roadmap, and writing. I also spend a surprising amount of time talking to customers, because the product keeps changing based on what they actually need.
What is visibility.so, in plain terms?
It’s a way to put AI agents on your team the way you’d hire a person. You assign an agent a project, give it a budget, and it does the work while a human reviews and approves. Early users are mostly SEO and marketing teams, but the model fits any team with repetitive, measurable work.
What is agentic SEO?
Agentic SEO is using AI agents to handle SEO as an ongoing system rather than one-off projects. Agents track visibility, run audits, prioritize fixes, and execute work continuously, while a human makes the final calls. It’s the model visibility.so is built on, and it’s what I write about most on this blog.
Why should someone follow you or read your blog?
I write about what we actually do and what the data shows, not theory. That includes how AI search engines cite content, how we track brand visibility across ChatGPT and other engines, and honest lessons from running a hybrid human-AI team. If that sounds useful, the blog is where it lives.
Do you take on freelance or consulting work?
I don’t take freelance development work anymore; my time goes to visibility.so. For development projects, my team at Acodez handles client work, and the services page explains exactly what they cover.
How can someone reach you?
The contact form on this site is the reliable way, and LinkedIn works too. I read both and reply to real messages.
